SOLD! THANK YOU!
Here is a splendid, very feminine necklace which drapes beautifully over the collarbones. It is made from an unusual hue of rose gold – closer to red than I’m used to seeing in antique jewelry. The garlands of gold are highlighted by 5 tiny stars of gold set with seed pearls and hanging from little plaques which are also set with seed pearls. The whole thing measures 15-1/4”, and the drapery section is 6-3/8”. The longest drape falls about 1-1/4”...

Here is a sweet ring, which comes out of the era when Edwardian styles were sliding into Art Deco. (1920s – 1935-ish) It is marked “925” for sterling silver, and set with a ruby, birthstone for those born in July. Rubies have been called “the queen of stones and the stone of kings.” The ring has the mellow patina of age, and is size 6. It could be re-sized. The photos are part of the description; please examine them carefully. Thanks! We do lay-away...

The moon is set with 21 round and cushion cut rubies, and 19 diamonds. The diamonds are set in silver, and the rubies in 14k rose gold. It measures 2” across the bar x 1-1/8” top to bottom, and weighs 9.5 g. or .34 oz. In excellent condition and very Victorian...

This necklace is such a pleasure to wear! It drapes very nicely around the neck, measuring 15-1/2” long, with a maximum of ½” in width. It is marked "DANECRAFT STERLING RFG US PAT OFF" and weighs 36.8g. In excellent condition, and we believe it was made between 1940 and 1950. The flowers are lotuses (which are a type of water lily). To Buddists, they represent resurrection, purity and enlightenment. The photos are part of the description; please examine them carefully...

This necklace is a graceful garland of bezel-set, oval and round moonstone cabochons in silver. Loops of chain surround moonstone drops, giving the fluid drape of the necklace. The chains connecting the stones are low-grade silver. This is a turn-of-the-century piece and is 15" long

Here is a classic and simply gorgeous ring – when worn, the liveliness of the stones is riveting! A demantoid from the original mines in the Ural Mountains of Russia this big is very rare. This one is slightly oval, has the diagnostic horsetail inclusions, and is of an older cut. Some of the facets are a little abraded, but its beauty is still remarkable, especially since we had the table facet re-polished...

Here is a charming young lady or girl, nicely realized in 14k (marked and tested) yellow gold. She is shown in profile against a textured oval background. Her hair curls around at the base of the oval, and her bangs are in slight disarray – we think she’s just sweet! She measures 1/2” x 3/8”, with a total length of 2-1/4” and weighs 1.4 g. This beauty is probably a mourning piece, with its black enamel flower. It has a tiny central old-cut diamond, and is made from 18k gold. There is a little chipping to the enamel, but it’s still quite lovely. The flower measures 1/2†x 3/4†and the whole thing is 2-1/2†long. Circa 1900. This wonderfully detailed pin is by Edmond-Henri Becker, one of the best-known French medalists from the turn of the last century. The front shows Joan of Arc (patron saint of France and of soldiers) in profile, also a shield decorated with a sword, a crown, and 2 fleurs-de-lis. Above her head is a banner saying “Jehanne d’Arc” and “1429”. The back shows a banner with a figure which is hard to make out, and two people praying...

Here is a Victorian gold-in-quartz (also called “gold quartz” and “gold-bearing quartz”) brooch. Gold-in-quartz is rare and becoming more so. It’s our understanding that it is now found in very few places in the world – possibly only one mine in California. The 14kt yellow gold setting has twisted gold on top of a carved gold oval. It measures 1-3/8 x 1-1/8" and weighs 6.8g. The pin assembly has been replaced. In excellent condition. The photos are part of the description, so please ...

Here is a romantic stick pin for your lapel, depicting a woman in profile with a pearl nestled into the curls of her hair. It would make a great gift for a man or a woman, or a sweet addition to your own collection. Marked 14k, it’s made from yellow gold, and signed by the maker, Whiteside & Blank. It measures 2-3/8”, and weighs 2.0g. The pin is slightly bent, and the back is dented a little, but this doesn’t detract from the beauty of this enchanting jewel when worn. Historical note: Mr....

This lovely and unusual Georgian pin is most likely a mourning piece. Made from 18k yellow gold, with rose gold and platinum accents, the center panel has two hearts (one of gold, one of platinum) under beveled crystal. It is surrounded by gold and platinum flowers and leaves, and has a delicate cannetille framework. It is unmarked, but tests as 18k. It weighs 3.6g or .12oz, and measures 7/8” x 5/8”, so it is quite small. Probably English, it is circa 1835. Please read this description and ...
