Here is a shield-shaped sorority pin (9/16 x 1/2”), with 16 tiny seed pearls set around the perimeter, and 3 colored stones. The 2 upper stones are emerald green, the bottom one is sapphire blue. They are too tiny for us to identify with certainty. The shield is crossed by a band of white enamel bisecting a background of black enamel. On the band are the Greek letters Kappa Phi, and in gold on one side is a candle stick and on the other is a flower...

This elegant pin/pendant consists of an oval of onyx in a sterling frame. The bale tests as 14kt, the pin stem tests as 10k yellow gold In the center are inlaid gold stars, and along the periphery are inlaid flowers, most likely platinum. The frame is decorated with a silver twist, and a floral motif. It measures 1-15/16 x 1-5/8 inches, and weighs 25.9g. Circa 1880. There is some loss to a couple of the flowers, but it’s still a striking piece.

This lovely little Art Nouveau watch pin is 14 k gold. The central flower is red enamel and leaves are enameled in green fading to yellowish green. It's pretty and colorful accent for any outfit. Two graceful curves of gold beneath the flower are set with eight seed pearls of graduated sizes. The pin is 3/4" by 1" in size and is dates from Circa 1900.

The lady in this lovely bar pin is the quintessential Art Nouveau lady with abundant swirling tresses streaming away from her face. The 14 k gold pin has the typical construction of the period: solid back, old style round hinge, and classic C clasp. It is marked for 14 k gold and signed with the little collar button mark used by Krementz. The pin is 1 3/4" X 3/8". The Krementz company of Newark New Jersey was founded in 1866...

This lovely bar pin is Victorian in age and is made of 15 ct gold. It is an Etruscan Revival design with the central motif of an anchor. The pin is 1 1/2" in length by 3/8" wide. Circa 1860-90.

This barrette is sure to attract admiring attention. The flowing, sinuous lines are SO Art Nouveau, and it's an unusual piece. It has a maker's mark which looks like the K used by Kohn & Company, a Newark, NJ manufacturer of gold jewelry. The company used the K mark in 1922 and 1931 advertisements

Here is a petite pin which has a water lily or lotus motif, highlighted by a tiny seed pearl. (The lotus is a symbol of enlightenment and purity, especially to Buddhists.) It is unmarked but tests as 10kt gold. It measures 1-1/8”, and weighs in at 0.04 oz. It would look lovely on a lapel or blouse. Circa 1900. This charming watch pin is a lovely example of Art Nouveau design. A central amethyst is flanked by seed pearls, all set in 14 k gold. The pin is 3/4 X 3/4" and carries the maker's mark L B A. Circa 1900.

An antique pin with a modern vibe. This charming Arts & Crafts is made of sterling silver that has been enameled in artfully shaded blue to chartreuse to look like the wings of a stylized moth. A mother-of-pearl oval centers the body, and there is a small faceted green 'stone' (possibly glass) at the head. The pin is 1 ½ by 3/4 inches in size, not including the small spherical dropper which is enameled in a rich blue. The pin is circa 1900.

The pin is set with seed pearls and a faceted sapphire and the enamel shades from pink to green. The head of the pin is 1/2" and the pin itself 2" in length. Comes with a clutch to protect the end. This wonderful Art Nouveau costume piece is circa 1910. The pink glass and brass swag necklace has two pear-shaped pink 'stones' in the center and two spectacle-set ones in the chain.

This pair of double “Sunrise” or “Sunset” cuff links is marked WHITE GOLD FRONT BELAIS 14K; TALON GRIP TRADEMARK. They are octagonal, measuring 5/8” x 7/16”, with rigid connectors that are hinged at one end. The Belais Brothers were among the first to develop a formula for white gold (patented 1917). Many feel they were the premier workers in white gold of their era, and their pieces are collectible...

Coral has been used in jewelry for thousands of years. It has been called Sea Garden because of its resemblance to a plant. This pretty stickpin is made of (stamped) 14kt white gold and is set with an unidentified colorless gemstone - not diamond or one of the common substitutes for diamond. Not glass or plastic - it's a real stone. Also a real mystery. Whatever it is, it's a perfect complement to the setting. There is an illegible maker's mark. Overall length is 2 3/8" and it’s C. 1915. (Stick pins are pins similar to small dressmaker pins, except that they are longer and often have quite ornamental tops to them...

Natural Bohemian garnets are featured in this antique pin. Two round elements are made up of three tiers of rich red rose-cut garnets. Each garnet circle is surrounded by a row of tiny rose-cut garnets. Suspended from these elements are three droppers featuring more garnets, round and marquise in shape. These droppers add eye-catching motion to the piece when it is worn. All of the gems are beautifully prong set. The pin is unmarked but is silver and is 1 ¼” wide...
