Here is a show-stopping charm bracelet! It has 20 charms. 11 are karat gold, the others are gold fill except (of course) the coral elephant and the silver enameled donkey. Check out the photos – there is a wild variety, from tools to musical instruments, to a gun (a pistol?). There are a few rings where there apparently used to be charms – perfect places to add your own. The charms are hung on a modified paperclip chain marked 14k gold. 6 charms are articulated...

Here is a highly detailed pin by Edmond-Henri Becker, one of the best-known French medalists. We really love all the details! The front shows Joan of Arc (patron saint of France and of soldiers) in profile, also a shield decorated with a sword, a crown, and 2 fleurs-de-lis. Above her head is a banner saying “Jehanne d’Arc” and “1429”. The back shows a banner with a saint (or possibly the Madonna and Child – the metal is somewhat worn here) with two people praying...

This lovely slide bracelet has 11 (10K & 14k) gold slides, some of which have opals and seed pearls and what looks like coral. The central slide depicts a beautiful Art Nouveau flower. The clasp is gold filled or 9k, the gold paperclip chain tests as 10k, but the round beads are hard to test beyond confirming that they are gold. One slide has a 14k hallmark and a maker’s mark, and one other has a maker’s mark, which looks like an oak leaf. It weighs in at 16.6g...

Here is a very pretty little pendant, centering a blue sapphire cabochon within an Art Nouveau framework of 14kt yellow gold. Above is a pearl. It is signed by the well known Whiteside & Blank company and stamped 14. When we found it, it was a ring that had been made from a stickpin, so we felt free to remake it into a necklace, since as a ring it wasn’t very practical. It measures just under 1 inch from the top of the bail by 1/2” at the widest point...

Here is an intriguing pair of pins from the Art Nouveau era. They feature a woman’s face flanked by flowers and their hair is greenish! We have been unable to determine what the metal is, so assume it’s not precious. They measure 1-1/4” x 1/2”. The pin stem assemblies are old, but they may be replacements. Circa 1900. The photos are part of the description; please examine carefully. Thanks! Shipping, handling & insurance within the USA included.

Here are some fun collar tips featuring an Art Nouveau-style design of a lady in profile with flowers in her hair. She looks very serene. They are silver plated, and the mounts are made out of white metal. We believe they’re contemporary, and in good used condition. Measuring 1-3/8” x 1-1/8”, they weigh 18.5g. The photos are part of the description; please examine them carefully. Thanks! Shipping, handling & insurance within the USA included.

Gold and Pearl Art Nouveau Stickpin Simple and simply attractive. This Art Nouveau stickpin dates from about 1900. The artful knot of 14 k gold holds a small pearl. The pin is ~3" long, and it comes with a clutch to prevent accidental stabbings. :-)

Here is a pretty and nicely detailed pin, probably depicting St. Catherine, patroness of young maidens and female scholars. There is a “Catherine wheel” in the background (but it could also be a spinning wheel or a ship's wheel – so you can make up your own mind!), and a flower in the foreground. Her clothing looks very Renaissance era to us. Marked “SILVER” on the C-clasp, with an illegible maker’s mark, the metal tests as sterling, and she’s a dainty 7/8” in diameter. 2.5g...

Here is a terrific ring centered by a navette-shaped lapis lazuli (traditionally a stone of royalty, also signifying truth and inner strength), with specks of pyrite for a bit of sparkle. The stone measures 3/4” N to S, and 1/4” E to W. The setting is made of 14kt yellow gold, formed into graceful curlicues. It is stamped 14k, and also has a maker’s mark, which appears to be “KBN” and also a dot in a circle. The size is between 5-1/4 and 5-1/2, and it weighs 5.5g...

Here is one of our very favorite rings. It would make a lovely engagement ring for a woman who wants something a bit different. Also the red & green stones make it great for Christmas, St. Patrick’s, or really any other time! The central diamond is approximately 20 points (1/5 of a carat, but looks bigger), and is set in platinum. The rest of the setting is made of unmarked but tested 14k gold of a lovely rich yellow. There are 4 tiny rubies and 3 tiny green demantoid garnets...

Here is one of our favorite lockets! The front has a beautiful Egyptian woman or girl – or perhaps goddess - in profile, wearing a headdress (from which a few locks of hair have escaped – so charming!), and hoop earrings. She is nestled within a crescent moon (symbolic of the female principal, intuition, and new beginnings). Inside it has both photo rings, but no celluloid. That can easily be fixed with plastic. Unusually large, it measures 1-5/8”, and weighs .77 ounce...

Here is a sweet pin by the very collectible Bippart, Griscomb & Osborn Company of Newark, NJ (quite the hub of Art Nouveau jewelry c. 1900). It is centered by a turquoise cab, with 2 freshwater pearls on either side, framed by a sinuous ribbon of 14kt gold. It has the BG&O maker’s mark and is stamped 14kt (the marks were hard to photograph). 1-3/4” x 5/16” at the widest point, and it weighs 3.2g. The photos are part of the description. A charming crescent pin that is very Victorian, with a seed pearl crescent supporting two seed pearl studded hearts. The hallmark is incomplete; the marks for Birmingham and England are present, along with an unidentified mark. There is no date stamp. The 2" wide pin appears to be circa 1890 and it is 14 k gold.

Here is one of our favorite rings. It features a jade-like green chalcedony center stone, surrounded by red and green Celtic interlace (also called entrelac) enamel. There is more interlace on the shank. Perfect for Christmas, but always very wearable. It is just slightly smaller than size 6, and the top measures 13/16” x 5/8”. Chalcedony was thought by Native Americans to promote harmony and good will. It is stamped 14K, and “KB”. There is a small amount of enamel loss, but otherwise i...

This pin is 14k gold and holds a coral branch. It is Victorian in age and has maker's mark, BML. The pin is 2" X 1/2". Circa 1860. Coral has been used in jewelry for thousands of years. It has been called Sea Garden because of its resemblance to a plant. Coral is used as protection from negativity and evil, and to dispel feelings of inner weakness.

Here is a pretty plique a jour pin in the shape of a stylized moth, German or Austrian in origin. The body has 4 colorless paste stones, and there is an emerald green paste stone in the tail. The plique shades from green to white to peach. 1-1/2” by 3/4”, and stamped “800” on the back. It is in excellent antique condition and circa 1900. This glorious Victorian brooch is in the shape of a “love knot,” and was most likely a wedding gift to a bride – but it would be an amazing gift on at any time! Or simply an excellent addition to your collection. It consists of 50 old-cut diamonds, 5 rubies, and 3 rosy-colored pearls, all mounted on silver-topped rose gold. Weighing in at 5.7g, it measures 1-3/4” x 7/8”. In excellent antique condition, and so beautiful! The photos are part of the description; please examine them care...

Here is a show-stopper of a necklace, with lots of amethysts and seed pearls! The rigid cross piece has a chain running above it, through loops over 5 oval amethysts with very nice color, each set into an inverted heart-shaped framework, and separated from the next by a tiny pearl. Set below each amethyst is a seed pearl, and below the framework are draping chains, the central 5 each having a freshwater pearl dangle. At each end of the bar is an additional little round amethyst, for a total of 7...
