Here is an intriguing pair of pins from the Art Nouveau era. They feature a woman’s face flanked by flowers, and the hair is greenish! We have been unable to determine what the metal is, so assume it’s not precious. They measure 1-1/4” x 1/2”. The pin stem assemblies are old, but they may be replacements. Circa 1900. The photos are part of the description; please examine carefully. Thanks! Shipping, handling & insurance within the USA included.

This pretty pin is so Art Nouveau! A lady’s face is surrounded by ribbons and flourishes, some set with seed pearls. It is gold filled, and measures 1-1/8” x 7/8”. Her nose and chin show some wear, and it has a patina consistent with age. The pin stem assembly is mounted in a somewhat unusual fashion – please see photos. Circa 1900. The photos are part of the description; please examine them carefully. Thanks! Shipping, handling & insurance within the USA is included.

This is an amazingly modern-looking Art Nouveau necklace. A total of seven garnets, two round, two oval, two square, and one teardrop, are mounted in 14 k gold. The square and teardrop garnets depend from the round stones and add movement to the design. The central dropper is studded with tiny seed pearls. The necklace is 15”long and the piece is unmarked. It dates from 1900-1920 and is a true antique beauty.

Here is a very elegant band, with a continuous wheat sheaf pattern (wheat signifies love and charity). It was made at the turn of the last century, according to jewelry historian Christie Romero (RIP). She also told us it was probably made using a process called “die rolling.” It is marked “22ct”, “PLATINUM” (the platinum is under the gold, as you can see in the photos), and the maker’s mark is “B’s”. It is size 5-1/4 plus a little, and it cannot be sized. 5.6 grams...

A bit of history for your lapel! During the Victorian era, every young gentleman had to make his Grand Tour, picking up souvenirs along the way. Lava cameos (actually made from a very fine-textured limestone) made into jewelry were highly sought after. This Victorian lava cameo is mounted in a 14 k gold stickpin. The cameo and mounting are 3/8" in height; overall length of the pin is 2 5/8". A clutch will be supplied with the pin.

Here is a very pretty watch pin made of marked and tested 14k gold, many seed pearls, and 2 accent diamonds. It has a leaf and motif, and 2 little flowers with heart-shaped petals, and we think it’s just beautiful. It measures 1-1/8 x 1-1/4" and weighs 6.9g. Here is an interesting beetle stick pin. Perfect for your lapel, the beetle is in very good condition (though the pin is slightly bent), and is set in unmarked but tested 14k rose gold. The beetle itself is 9/16” x 7/16” at the widest points, and is held firmly in place by 4 prongs. The whole thing is 2-3/4” long. The Victorians loved to use organic things in their jewelry, including real beetles. This particular type seems to have been a favorite...

Here is a sweet pin by the very collectible Bippart, Griscomb & Osborn Company of Newark, NJ (quite the hub of Art Nouveau jewelry c. 1900). It is centered by a turquoise cab, with 2 freshwater pearls on either side, framed by a sinuous ribbon of 14kt gold. It has the BG&O maker’s mark and is stamped 14kt (the marks were hard to photograph). 1-3/4” x 5/16” at the widest point, and it weighs 3.2g. The photos are part of the description. Here is a Victorian brooch with cross, anchor, and heart, the symbols for faith, hope and charity, respectively. The metal has very nice detailing. Unmarked, but it is made of a layer of gold on top of what looks like copper. The center of the heart is set with a seed pearl, possibly faux, and the cross is set with 11 tiny turquoise-colored cabs – they are too tiny for a definite ID. It measures 1-3/16 x 7/8". The gold shows wear here and there, and it has a nice patina...

These gorgeous cuff links are composed of slightly oval rock crystals carved with a seashell-like pattern, intersected by rows of calibre-cut blue sapphires. 18k (tested) white gold backs and links are marked with what appears to be European hallmarks – they are too blurry to decipher beyond that. The rock crystals measure 5/8” x 9/16”, and together they weigh 7.2g. The photos are part of the description; please examine carefully. Thanks! Shipping, handling & insurance within the USA incl...
