Here is a lovely pendant/pin with a stylized floral motif using green-to-yellow enamel in a design reminiscent of a French fleur-de-lis. It is centered by a small diamond (approx. 5 points), and has a pearl-set modified starburst accenting the enameled “petals.” In 14k rose gold, it measures 1” in diameter at the widest point. The bale folds down nicely when it’s worn as a brooch. We had the enamel touched up a little bit at the edges, so it is now in excellent condition...

Here is a pair of simple yet very pretty earrings, which can be worn with just about anything. The citrines are set in 14k gold and measure about 6mm or 1/8” in diameter. The earrings weigh 1.1g. They are stamped 14k, and have a stylized maker’s mark which could be “MP”; they are also stamped “CZ” for some reason. We have tested the stones and they are definitely citrines. Citrines are the birthstone for November, along with topaz...

Emeralds (birthstone for May) have been thought to preserve love and bring wisdom. These sweet bright green emerald earrings are unmarked, but the gold tests as 14k. They are 13/16” long, and the buttercup settings measure 1/2” across. The stones measure 5-1/2mm across. I believe the ear wires used to have hooks to slip into, but those are gone and the stubs smoothed over for comfort. One of the emeralds is chipped in the back, but both stones face up well...

Here is a petit pin which has a lotus or water lily motif highlighted by a tiny seed pearl. (The lotus is a symbol of purity and enlightenment, especially to Buddhists.) It is unmarked but tests as 10kt gold. It measures 1-1/8”, and weighs in at 0.04 oz. It would look lovely on a lapel or blouse. Circa 1900. The photos are part of the description; please examine them carefully. Thanks! Shipping, handling & insurance within the USA included.

Here is a striking pin, which is a mixture of the Art Nouveau and Victorian styles. The Victorians loved to use real insects, especially these green beetles, in jewelry. The Nouveau jewelers loved naturalistic motifs, but generally didn’t use the insect itself – yet the design of the pin is very Nouveau. Marked 14k, the pale gold setting contrasts nicely with the deep green of the beetle. The pin stem assembly is original...

Here is a very pretty watch pin made of marked and tested 14k gold, many seed pearls, and 2 accent diamonds. It has a vine and leaf motif, and 2 little flowers with heart-shaped petals, and we think it’s just beautiful. It measures 1-1/8 x 1-1/4" and weighs in at 6.9g. One seed pearl was missing, so we had it replaced. The pin stem assembly is original. In excellent condition, and circa 1910. The photos are part of the description; please examine them carefully. Thanks! We do lay-away...

Here is a beautiful 15kt yellow gold double-cluster ring: a cluster of pearls centered by a ruby, and one of rubies centered by a diamond. In the center of each is a Star of David motif in gold. Ruby is the birthstone for July. The ring is hallmarked for Birmingham, England and 15 karat gold, and a date mark for 1877, and also a maker’s mark for “P&E”. Size 7-1/2. One of the pearls may be a replacement, and one prong is missing...

Here is a pretty Victorian ring with scroll work on the shank. The center decoration is a horizontal row of seed pearls, with two red stones to the north and south. One stone is badly chipped, and both are abraded. One of them might be a doublet, but otherwise we don’t know what they are, because of the abrasions, so assume paste (glass). It is stamped 10K, and is approximately size 8. It could be sized...

Here is a very pretty little pendant, centering a blue sapphire cabochon within an Art Nouveau framework of 14kt yellow gold. Above is a pearl. It is signed by the well known Whiteside & Blank company and stamped 14. When we found it, it was a ring that had been made from a stickpin, so we felt free to remake it into a necklace, since as a ring it wasn’t very practical. It measures just under 1 inch from the top of the bail by 1/2" at the widest point. We have 14kt gold chains should you need ...

Here is a very elegant brooch, featuring a large amethyst surrounded by a row of seed pearls, which are in turn surrounded by an enameled key pattern. Marked 14k, and signed by the Riker Bros. of Newark, NJ, it measures 1-3/16” x 13/16” and weighs 8.0g. It is in excellent condition overall, but with a very small ding to the upper left edge, and very tiny pitting in the enamel, which isn’t visible without magnification (or enlarged photos!). Here is a fascinating stick pin, depicting a crescent moon – symbol of the female principal, intuition and new beginnings; an arrow – symbol of swiftness, Sagittarius, and sexual attraction (Cupid’s bow); and a 5-pointed star, symbolic of so many things we won’t even start! It is set with 11 turquoises (birthstone for December, believed to be good for healing and focus) and one seed pearl. The rose gold tests as 14kt. It measures 7/8” at the widest point; the whole thing measures 2-7/...

Here is a dainty little pin, measuring 7/8” across. Some of the leaves are enameled in shades of green, yellow and orange, alternating with leaves set with 3 seed pearls each. It centers another seed pearl. The findings are original, with a neat security clasp. On the clasp is a maker’s mark consisting of an arrow with a circle at the end, most likely for Robert Klitz, of New York. No hallmarks, but it tests for 14k gold. Circa 1900. The photos are part of the description; please examine th...

Here is an adorable stick pin! The pin is unmarked, but the gold tests at about 12k. The total length is 2-1/8”, the dog’s face is 1/2” x 7/16”, and it weighs 0.9g. He may be a Weimaraner. They were bred as hunting dogs in the early 1800s in Germany, and were named after the Grand Duke Weimar. In real life they are a silvery color, but this guy is a nice warm gold. Wikipedia tells us “The Weimaraner is loyal and loving to his family, an incredible hunter, and a fearless guardian of hi...

A bit of history! This charming 14 k gold pin sports an enameled flag, initials, thee number five, and the date 1860. The pin is 1 X 1/1/2" in size and is an homage to the Daughters of Liberty, which was formed ~1766, shortly after formation of The Sons of Liberty. This group of brave women boycotted British products and made use of traditional women's skills such as weaving and spinning, to support the cause of liberty.

Here is a lovely and beautifully detailed garland necklace featuring a heart with wings, symbolic of love and openness. The heart has green enamel with orange highlights, and it and the wings are set with seed pearls. Above are gold curlicues, and below is a (tested) diamond dropper. It’s got a faint 10k mark on the back, but tests as 14k (this is not unusual). The spring ring is marked Gold Filled, but the chain tests for 14k, so it’s probably a replacement. The central design elements meas...

A pretty necklace to liven any outfit! The bright turquoise in this lovely lavalier would be a bright accent for any outfit. The turquoise is an oval cabochon, and it is surrounded by gold 'ribbons' set with seed pearls. The use of 9 ct gold suggests an English origin but it is not hallmarked. It is is signed with the maker's mark SB & SLD in rounded rectangular lozenges. The lavalier comes with a 16" gold filled chain and is 1 1/4" X 1". Circa 1900.

This charming little dragon is made of 14 k gold and holds a diamond in his mouth. He has wings and a graceful Art Nouveau swirl for a tail.
