This elegant and very rare ring weighs in at 11.5 grams. The top (measuring 5/8” x 5/8”) has a lovely Nouveau design, and no monogram – ready for your initials. (Finding a signet ring that is both Art Nouveau AND that has never been monogrammed is really unusual!) The top edges and shanks are beautifully carved with Nouveau swirls which are deeply incised. It is unmarked 14k gold, and size 9-1/4. Circa 1900...

It is decorated with a total of 28 seed pearls of colors that vary a little, set into the leaves & vine-like gold ribbons. It is marked 14k on 1 leaf and the spring ring. In excellent condition. The decorative panels measure 3-1/2" x 1", and the whole thing measures 15-1/4" total (we have gold necklace extenders available if you need more length)...

An elegant queen graces the front of this antique locket. She wears a crown with a row of 7 tiny single-cut diamonds, and one slightly larger full-cut diamond at the peak of the crown. Her hair cascades down to her shoulder, and gold disks hang from the crown. She has a little dent at about cheek bone height. The back has a monogram, possibly an S, and has several little dents. The rose gold (very hard to photograph) tests at about 12k. It is 1” in diameter, and weighs 5.3 g...

Amethysts were traditionally thought to aid in clarity of mind, putting the wearer in touch with their intuitions. This large amethyst should work beautifully, measuring 10mm across. It is set in a framework of leaves that bring to mind the Arts and Crafts era, with another leaf on the bale, and a fringe of tiny seed pearls dangles below. It is marked and tested 14k gold and weighs 1.8g. I believe it was made during the 1960s, but am not sure – it could be earlier. In excellent condition...

Here is a lovely young lady, nicely realized in 14k (marked and tested) yellow gold. She is shown in profile against a textured oval background. Her hair curls around at the base of the oval, and her bangs are in slight disarray – we think she’s just charming! She measures 1/2” x 3/8”, with an overall length of 2-1/4”. 1.4 g. She could be cleaned up a bit – we leave that to the new owner to decide. Circa 1900 and in excellent condition...

This lovely and detailed Titanic-era garland necklace features a heart with wings, symbolic of love and openness. The heart has green enamel with orange highlights, and it and the wings are set with seed pearls. Above are gold curlicues, and below is a (tested) diamond dropper. It’s got a faint 10k mark on the back, but tests as 14k. The spring ring is marked Gold Filled, but the chain tests for 14k, so the spring ring is most likely a replacement...

Although this jewel is English, it reflects the aesthetics of fin de siècle Russia, with its pink topazes and demantoid garnets. The fairly large topazes are surrounded by swirls of seed-pearl-set gold, and set off by 4 bright green demantoid garnets, 2 of which are set into the fine chains which connect the top section to the bottom; of the other 2, the top one is a modified pear shape, the other oval. It measures 2” long by 1-1/8” across at the widest point, and weighs 5.4g...

This beautiful pin is a crossover between the Art Nouveau and Victorian styles. The Victorians loved to use real insects, particularly these green beetles, in jewelry. The Nouveau jewelers loved naturalistic motifs, but generally didn’t use the insect itself – yet the design of the pin is totally Nouveau...

The flowing, sinuous lines of this unusual and lovely 10 k gold barrette are SO Art Nouveau. This barrette is sure to attract admiring attention. It has a maker's mark which looks like the K used by Kohn & Company, a Newark, NJ manufacturer. Two inches in length.

Here is an intriguing pin in the shape of a lyre (precursor to the harp). The coppery rose gold is carved, with black enamel highlights, and dedicated to “GAO From G.V.” It measures 1-1/16” x 13/16” and weighs 3.6g, with the original old pin stem assembly. Unmarked, the brooch tests as 14k, and the pin stem tests as at least 10k. In excellent condition. The photos are part of the description; please examine them carefully. We're on a roll here with February's birthstone...and garnet/glass doublets! This Art Nouveau lavalier is 10 k gold and is centered with an amethyst look-alike--a garnet/glass doublet. Here is a Victorian pin with cross, anchor, and heart, the symbols for faith, hope and charity. It has nice detail work in the metal. Unmarked, but it seems to be made of a layer of gold on top of a layer of copper (we’re sure about the gold). The center of the heart is set with a (faux?) seed pearl, and the cross is set with 11 tiny turquoise-colored cabs – they are too tiny for a definite ID. It measures 1-3/16 x 7/8". The gold shows wear here and there, and it has a nice age patina, but o...

The popularity of all things Italian amounted to mania in the Victorian England of 1860-1880. Especially favored were objects of Etruscan design. This locket is gold fill, decorated with an Etruscan Revival motif punctuated with a pearl. The locket is 1 ½" long and is unmarked.

This pretty stickpin features a lovely square bright green tourmaline (said to aid in self confidence and compassion). It is surrounded by a Nouveau framework in gold, with a Tudor or wild rose below. A little white pearl completes it. It is marked 14k, with an illegible maker’s mark. It measures 1/2” x 5/8" and the whole thing is 2-1/2" long. It weighs 2.9g including the gold-filled clutch. In excellent condition and C. 1900. The Tudor rose is a combination of the white rose of York an...

This fun pin from England features a large peridot (1 cm x 6 mm or 3/8” x 2/8”), and, on either side, pearl-set golden clover. Flanking those are 3 demantoids per side, plus 1 above and 1 below the peridot. Peridot symbolizes spring, youthfulness, and they are said to bring health and wealth. It also features 8 tiny demantoid garnets. Off to either side is a whiplash of pearl-set gold. On the back, “15ct” is engraved into the gold. The brooch weighs 5.1 g and measures 1-9/16” x 5/8”...

Here is a pretty gypsy ring, made from a rich yellow 18kt gold. The center stone is a diamond, the 2 outer stones are rubies. It has decorative scroll work carving on the shoulders. The hallmarks are for Chester, 1903, and there is a maker’s mark that we can’t decipher. It weighs 4.0g, and is approximately size 5. The shank is a little off round, and it may have been sized at some time, but it is in excellent condition. The photos are part of the description; please examine them carefully. T...

These 10kt yellow gold cuff links sport an ivy motif – one of our favorites! Ivy is symbolic of growth, marriage, and friendship. The decorated ends measure ¾” x ½”, and they weigh 3.2g. Unmarked, they test at 10k, and we believe them to be from the Art Nouveau period. In excellent condition, and really lovely. The photos are part of the description so please examine them carefully. Thanks! Shipping, handling & insurance within the USA included.
