Perfect for a wedding, here is a very pretty starburst pin/necklace, made from 14k gold (marked and tested), set with seed pearls, and with an old European cut diamond in the center. It has a maker’s mark in the shape of a Maltese cross. Measuring 1-1/8”, it weighs 6g. The bail folds down nicely for wearing as a necklace. The 18” chain is gold filled, and not original to the piece. It comes with an antique dark blue velvet box...

These cuff links are really pretty! The Nouveau sensibility is strong – flowing lines highlighting a naturalistic motif of iris blossoms. Irises symbolize hope, valor, and wisdom. The French fleur-de-lis is modeled on an iris. Unmarked, they test as 10k gold. The decorated panels are 1” x 1/2”, and they weigh 3.9g. The photos are part of the description; please examine them carefully. Thanks! Shipping, handling & insurance within the USA included.

This beautiful pin is a crossover between the Art Nouveau and Victorian styles. The Victorians loved to use real insects, particularly these green beetles, in jewelry. The Nouveau jewelers loved naturalistic motifs, but generally didn’t use the insect itself – yet the design of the pin is totally Nouveau. Marked 14k, the pale gold setting contrasts nicely with the deep green of the beetle. The pin stem assembly is original...

This pretty stick pin is classic Art Nouveau. It is centered by an amethyst, birthstone for February. Back in the day amethysts were thought to ward off drunkenness, as well as being a cure for headaches (we see a theme here!). There is a seed pearl above and one below, all mounted in a (marked and tested) 14k “whiplash” frame. Measuring 1/2” x 2-1/4" long, it weighs 1.5g. There is an illegible maker’s mark...

Here is one of our favorite lavaliers! It is quintessential Art Nouveau: a graceful and elegant shape with a flower and whiplash motif. The central amethyst weighs approximately 1/2 carat, and it is graced by 28 seed pearls. Feng Shui practitioners believe amethysts aid in purification, and give access to a higher plane of energy. Unmarked but tested 14k rose gold, it weighs 3.3g and measures 1” x 1” at the widest points. Chain not included. In very good antique condition, and circa 1900...

The typically Art Nouveau curves of this elegant lavalier are set with seed pearls to accent their lavish beauty. The lavalier holds a large central amethyst—February’s birthstone!—and has an amethyst dropper. The delicate bale is set with more pearls. The lavalier is made of 9 ct gold and is 1 1/8" by 1 1/2" plus the bale. Circa 1900. The 14 k gold 16" chain is new.

This elegant and very rare ring weighs in at 11.5 grams. The top (measuring 5/8” x 5/8”) has a lovely Nouveau design, and no monogram – ready for your initials. (Finding a signet ring that is both Art Nouveau AND that has never been monogrammed is really unusual!) The top edges and shanks are beautifully carved with Nouveau swirls which are deeply incised. It is unmarked 14k gold, and size 9-1/4. Circa 1900...

Here is a pretty woman’s face in profile. Her long golden hair trails down to end with a tiny baroque or freshwater pearl. Total length of the face, hair and pearl is nearly 3/4”. This design was based on a drawing by Charles Dana Gibson – a Gibson Girl! (Please see the final photograph.) It is hallmarked 14k, weighs 1.2g, and is in excellent condition. It doesn’t have a maker’s mark, but we have seen this exact stick pin with Alling’s mark. Circa 1910...

Each end is marked WHITE GOLD FRONT BELAIS 14K; TALON GRIP TRADEMARK, and is octagonal, measuring 5/8 x 7/16”, with rigid connectors, hinged at one end. A winged cherub delicately carved in mother-of-pearl and surrounded by rose-cut diamonds makes this pendant unusual and lovely. The pendant is 14 k yellow gold, and the diamonds are set in 14 k white gold. Ten larger and 47 smaller rose-cut diamonds surround the cameo, and nine more diamonds are pave-set on the bail. This piece is really stunning...perfect for the lover of cherubs. 1 1/2" x 1" plus 3/8" bale. Marked [and tested] 14 k, and there is a maker's mark I can't identify.

This pretty antique pin is so Art Nouveau! A lady’s face is surrounded by ribbons and flourishes, some set with seed pearls. It is gold filled, and measures 1-1/8” x 7/8”. Her nose and chin show some wear, and the metal could use brightening up a bit. The pin stem assembly is mounted in a somewhat unusual fashion – please see photos. Circa 1900. Ruby is the birthstone for July, and symbolizes devotion, love, and immortality. Pearls symbolize purity and harmony. What a great combination for these pretty earrings! They test as 10kt gold, although they are marked 375 for 9kt. The hanging flower basket motif is quite charming! They contain a total of 16 rubies and 18 seed pearls. The total length is 1-7/8”, and together they weight 4.3g. As usual with older earrings, it’s possible that the wires are replacements. In excellent conditio...
