Here is a maple leave pin, consisting of plique a jour enamel in a silver setting. Antique plique a jour (translucent enamel) jewels are hard to come by these days – they are somewhat fragile and rare, and we believe that many of them are now in private collections. Here is an elegant sterling silver fancy-link chain which comes from the era of the Titanic, but could be as late as the Art Deco period (Downton Abbey! The Great Gatsby!). It is interesting enough to be worn on its own, or you could hang a pendant or watch from it. The clasp is stamped “Sterling”. It measures 26”, and the links are 1/4” or 4mm wide at the widest point.
