The coin tests as silver, most likely sterling. On one side is the face of Friedrich (presumably) and his wife, a Maltese cross, and the words “FRIEDRICH * I * 1701 * WILHELM * II * 1901”, on the other side is an eagle with a crown above, and “DEUTSCHES REICH 1901 ZWEI MARK”. The rest is white metal. The swivel clasp has a mark, which looks like a plow. We haven’t been able to track it down. The coin and split ring weigh approximately .40oz, and the whole thing .94oz...

Tiny and charming. The pin is made of 800 silver, enameled on both front and back, and centered with a square-cut peridot. The pin is 3/4" in diameter. Enamel is slightly worn on the front, but is in better condition on the back. There is a small chip in the stone. Enough negativity! It's a lovely pin! It is marked with the dog's head quality mark that shows it is 800 silver, made between 1872 & 1922 in Austro-Hungary and an A for the maker.

(The colors in the photographs may be deceptive, depending on your computer monitor). The (translucent) enamel over the wire spirals is turquoise, and the rest is a medium blue. “Plique a Jour” translates as “Light of Day.” Measuring 1-1/4” x 7/8", it weighs 3.1g. On the back it is marked with “800”, and an illegible (maker’s?) mark...

Beautiful, antique, and signed by a famous maker--can it get any better? This lovely turn-of-the-century pendant is centered with a 12 x 30 mm oval citrine surrounded by a pale blue enameled band studded with marcasites. Enameled bows on each side and a fresh water pearl dropper finish the design. The metal is 935 silver (higher silver content than sterling) and the pendant is signed with the dragonfly mark for Meyle & Mayer...
