Here is a lovely jewel featuring a circle of 6 ginkgo leaves radiating out from a diamond center, with rows of seed pearls in between. The enamel is lovely, detailed, and subtle. It is both a pendant and a brooch. The bale is on a swivel; it folds down neatly so that it’s invisible when worn as a brooch. Unmarked but tested 14k rose gold, about 33 pearls, and an approximately .02 full cut old diamond, very slightly chipped (not visible without magnification). It measures 1-1/16” in diameter and weighs 5.7g. The enamel might be slightly cracked on one leaf - it’s really hard to see without magnification. In excellent antique condition. In China, the ginkgo was thought to be a symbol of longevity, peace and hope – things that are much needed right now. Circa 1910. The photos are part of the description; please examine them carefully. Thanks! We do lay-away. Shipping, handling & insurance within the USA included.
