Here is a classic jewel consisting of a circle of gold enameled in deep blue, with gold highlights. Through it is tied a 3-looped bow, decorated with tiny seed pearls, as are the bail and drop. There are a couple very minor flaws in the enamel that are not visible without magnification. It is stamped 15kt gold, and the gold has that lovely rich color we don't see any more. There is a place on the back where it looks as though someone made a repair using rose gold. The pendant measures just over 1-1/2” x 1”. Probably made between 1854 and 1910 – this is such a classic design that it’s hard to know for sure. It is in overall very good antique condition; please note that there is wear to the gold of the bale where a chain would rub – it must have been worn a lot! The photos are part of the description; please examine them carefully. Thanks! We do lay-away. Shipping, handling & insurance within the USA included.
