Here is a brooch combining the styles of Edwardian and Art Nouveau jewelry, and is remarkably similar to pieces by Whiteside & Blank that we’ve seen with the W&B maker’s mark; however it is unsigned (not unusual for the time). The pin consists of gold a framework enameled in palest green (almost white), in a formal Edwardian key pattern. In the middle is a sprig of leaves with a pearl berry; the stem twines around the framework in the Nouveau style. An interesting juxtaposition. There are 3 additional pearls set on the frame. It is marked (and tested at) 10k on the C-clasp. There is a little enamel loss, otherwise in very good condition. The photos are part of the description, so please examine them carefully. Thanks! We do lay-away. Shipping, handling & insurance within the USA included.
