So 1950s in style! Frankly costume jewelry but so very pretty. Gold-toned metal has a brushed finish that looks far more expensive than it is and forms the perfect background for flower shapes of sparkly golden brown rhinestones. If you like vintage style, this is definitely for you! The necklace is 16” long and is made up of 16 links, each a gold metal ribbon caught up with a flower of 7 golden brown rhinestones. Matching clip earrings, 1 ¼” long, are yellow metal oval ‘ribbons’ suspended from rhinestone flowers. The maker’s mark is TRIFARI with ©, the mark used in the 1970s. There is also a hang tag which was first used in 1954. The fastener is a simple hook catch used with a 2” chain that terminates in a large golden brown rhinestone. Everything about these pieces lives up to the Trifari reputation for the fine craftsmanship found in its older pieces.
