This Edwardian/Art Nouveau necklace (too big to be considered a lavalier) would be perfect for a bride … or anyone, really, at any time! It measures 1-1/4” at the widest point, and from the top-most diamond to the bottom of the dropper it is 2-1/4”. The dropper is a dogtooth pearl, 11/16” long, which has a collar of gold around it, set with 3 diamonds, and swirls of gold holding 4 more little pearls. The “wow” factor is huge! The main section features 3 more tiny diamonds and 50+ seed pearls. At the top the gold forms a blossom, below that, a fleur de lis, and surrounding and connecting them are ribbons of pearl-set gold swirls. It is marked 14K, weighs 7g, and there is a maker’s mark in the shape of a wishbone. Circa 1905 and in excellent condition.
