Japanese Meiji period woodblock print triptych depicting a chorus of female dancers and musicians by Toyohara Kunichika (1835-1900) dated 10th month of Meiji 16 (1883). The title describes the beauties as "Flowers of Chikusa." Each panel measures 14 1/2"V x 9 7/8"H. The assembled size is about 14 1/4"V x 29 1/8"H. Excellent color and good overall condition with margins evident. The panels are separate, are not backed, and there is no tape on the back. There are holes in three areas of the central panel, but they are well disguised by the design. This triptych is from an old New Orleans collection.
