Chinese conical form Yaozhou bowl covered overall with an olive-brown celadon glaze permeated with bubbles. Three spur marks are on the fully glazed foot rim. Dark spots are scattered in the glaze. Measures 5 5/8” – 6” diameter by just over 2” high. Southern Song dynasty (circa 13th century). This misshapen bowl is in good overall condition. There is a barely visible fine hairline crack in the interior that extends to the exterior and there are a few other fine cracks and scratches in the interior (see enlargements 11 & 12).
