Japanese limited edition sosaku hanga “kappa-ban” (stencil print) of a man walking in the snow under an umbrella in front of a shop titled “Shichiya” (Pawn Shop) by Yoshitoshi Mori (1898-1992). The print is pencil-signed “Y. Mori,” dated ’89, and numbered 19/100. The artist’s red seal is above the signature. The visible paper size is about 13 ½”V x 10”H. The framed size is 19 ½”V x 15 ¼”H. The print is nicely framed in the original Kato Gallery frame and appears to be in very good overall condition. This image was purchased in Japan at the Kato Gallery and is from a Scottsdale, Arizona collection.
