Large Chinese Republic period mirror pair of Peking glass baluster form vases each decorated on the front and back in blue overlay on white with a swan swimming in water among lotus flowers and leaves. A blue band encircles the mouth rim and a flat blue foot rim is slightly raised around the recessed base. Circa 1920’s. 10” high each. Very good overall condition and heavy for their size. This pair of vases is from the estate of an 88-year-old Tucson woman who purchased her collection in antique shops in New York City in the 1950’s to 1970’s. According to records located in the estate, the vases were purchased in 1970-1971.
