Chinese Qing dynasty Qianlong period geyao type shallow bowl covered overall with a fine crackle glaze on a creamy white ground. The high foot rim is glazed on the exterior. The recessed base is glazed and the glaze extends part way up the inner side of the inward slanting foot where it ends with an orange burn line. There are seven brown glazed spots on the base that simulate Song kiln supports. 10 3/8” diameter x 2 1/4” high. 18th century. Very good overall condition with no chips or cracks. There are burial encrustations in the interior. This bowl is from the private collection of a former American expatriate to Guangzhou and Beijing from 1983-1987.
