Japanese shin hanga woodblock print titled "Kagurazaka Dori" (Kagurakaza Street after a Night Rain) by Hiroshi Yoshida (1876-1950) dated Showa 4 (1929). Lifetime edition published from the original blocks after World War II. The artist's black ink stamped signature is located to the left of the red artist's seal at the lower right corner of the image. The print is titled in English and block signed in the bottom margin. The left margin contains the date and title in Japanese. Illustrated in "The Complete Woodblock Prints of Yoshida Hiroshi," Abe Publications, color plate #69. Paper measures 15 7/8"V x 10 5/8"H (image size: 14 3/4"V x 9 5/8"H). Very good overall condition with full margins and no tape or tape stains verso. The print is faintly foxed and toned and there are two tiny pin holes in the left margin. There is a small pencil notation in Japanese verso.
