Chinese late Qing dynasty Guangxu period porcelain seated figure depicting Fuxing, the God of Blessings, seated in a robe with a male child on a raised stand beside him executed in blue and white with chocolate brown accents. Circa 1900 to early 20th century. 7 1/2” high. Very good overall condition with some burst bubbles and/or firing losses in the glaze on the hand and noses that appear to be from the original production. From the private collection of a former American expatriot to Guangzhou and Beijing from 1983-1987.
