Large Chinese Republic period Canton enamel on copper fluted charger raised on three shaped bronze alloy feet finely painted in the interior well with three elegant beauties and a child in a garden setting. The interior cavetto is decorated with leafy flowering scrolling vines and lotus flowers on a cobalt blue ground. The exterior edge is similarly decorated and set against a white ground. A four-character blue Qianlong mark on the white enamel base is set between blue confronting cloud-form kui dragons. 14 1/2” diameter x nearly 3 5/8” high. Very good overall condition.
