Korean Joseon Dynasty to a few years later dark stained walnut wood rectangular form coin chest with heavy black iron hardware including metal top hinges, rectangular front plate, iron lock, floral accents along the top at the two narrow sides, and carrying handles on three sides. The top front section lifts to reveal a white papered interior with plenty of storage space. Included is the original authentication certificate from Mr. Lee's Antique Co. in Seoul dated 1989. 37 3/8" wide x 16 1/2" deep x 17 1/2" high. Circa 1900. Very good solid overall condition with light scratches, a few fine cracks, and typical signs of wear from use. Please note that the chest color is slightly darker than the images suggest.
