This beautiful pair of earrings has a total of 15 carats of deep blue sapphires and nearly 2 carats of diamonds in white gold settings. The AIGL appraisal report dated December of 2019 values the earrings at $8850.00. The sapphires are quite large (7.5 carats each) and would also be well-suited in separate finger rings. This is an exciting little repousse plaque or pendant found in the city of Gilgit. The city of Gilgit was an important hub along the silk road. The image and decor of the piece appears to be Gandharan but as I am not an expert on that particular culture I could be mistaken in my attribution. This piece measures roughly 2 cm square. It is a magnificent piece for any collection of ancient art or jewelry. Please email if you need any further information or photographs.

This beautiful and unique little jar is part of the famous Hoi An hoard. In the mid 15th century a freighting junk loaded with fine Vietnamese pottery sank in an area of the South China Sea called the “Dragon’s Embrace.” Around 1994 local fishermen began finding pottery in their nets. Thus what has become known as the "Hoi An Hoard" was discovered. This is one of the sole surviving examples of Hoi An porcelain boxes that has a moulded decoration on the lid. The decoration was apparently ove...

This piece is an amazing bronze pendant and original chain dating to at least 1000 BC if not earlier. It was purchased with a group of Bactrian weapons so I believe it is likely Bactrian in origin. The pendant measures roughly 6 cm across. The chain looks to be at least 50 cm long but due to its age it is a bit fragile. Each link in the chain was hammered out of a strip of bronze. This is an incredible piece of ancient art for study or display. I doubt you will find anything like it available an...

This is a set of three large bronze belt-hooks from the Khmer culture in ancient Southeast Asia (circa 12th century AD). Each one of the fabulous pieces measures roughly 16 cm in length. As can be seen clearly in the photos, they have some soil encrustation, patina, and slight damage as might be expected from pieces of this age. The stand (roughly 32 cm in height) is included in the purchase. These make a wonderful display/conversation piece.

This is an amazing ankle bracelet from the Dong Son culture and Ancient Asia (circa 200 BC). This work of art is intricately decorated with typical Dong Son motifs. There are no repairs to the piece. As is common with bronze from this period and region, there is some surface delamination which accounts for the lighter colored areas. I have included a 35x micrograph in the photos that shows a layer of soil, a layer of malachite based patina, the corroded sublayer and some copper oxide. This gorge...
