This is a fantastic, antennae hilted, bronze age sword found in Northern India. The patina suggests a high copper content. This museum quality piece measures roughly 495mm and weighs 523 grams. The blade is 8mm thick in the center and the antennae are roughly 12 mm thick. The measurement between the outer edges of the antennae is 8.5cm. The blade edge is jagged but the metal is solid and stable with no signs of repair. This is a very rare sword that needs to be in your collection!

This is a terrific example of an openwork handle bronze dagger from the Dong Son culture circa 300 BC. It has been a number of years since we have seen one of these for sale and this one is in particularly nice condition. It measures 315 mm and weighs 276 grams. This is an unusual bronze spear or dagger from ancient Persia (circa 1500 BC). The style is similar to many specimens attributed to the Luristan culture. However, this particular piece has an unusually pronounced guard area, faceted tang, and decorated shaft. The decorations are in the form of linear incisions on the cylindrical portion of the shaft. There is also a prominent midrib in the elegant, leaf-shaped blade. This piece measures 31 cm in length and weighs 190 grams.

This is a socketed iron spear from the ancient middle east. This was part of a lot including Bactrian and Luristan artifacts. I do not have an exact cultural attribution for this piece but it is similar to pieces from northern iran in the early part of the first millenium BC. It is 39 cm long and weighs 316 grams. This piece weighs 281 grams and measures roughly 31 cm. This is an excellent specimen for any ancient weapons collection.

The shape of the blade is very uncommon as well. The piece is solid and stable with no signs of repair or damage. It measures 321mm and weighs 241 grams. This is a beautiful ancient bronze axe head from Norther Iran ca 1200 BC. It has very thick and flared blades. The socket has a raised ring or ridge around it and underneath both blades are three raised lines cast into the bronze. This is quite an unusual type acquired from a large private collection. This is a wonderful example of an ancient bronze spear from ancient Greece or Persia. It has a beautiful, leaf-shaped blade with a strong central rib. The tang is rectangular with a 90 degree bend at the end that is finished with a perfect round knob. The patina is a mix of light greens and browns. This is an extremely rare type of ancient bronze weapon from the Mediterranean region. It has a blunt tip blade with a very prominent midrib that is nearly a cm thick!. The shaft is cylindrical but the tang is hammered square. The overall length is over 25 cm and the weight is 156 grams. This is a truly rare piece at a great price for any collection.

This is an extraordinarily rare bronze arrow point from ancient China. Textual references for this type are scarce as well which is a testament to the rarity of the object itself. The point has very intricately cast details and finely ground edges and points. The extra long tang is intact and appears to be as straight as the day it was made. This is a fantastic example of an early bronze dagger blade with handle rivets still present and intact. This type was common to large areas of the Middle East from present day Greece across to Iran. It has a triangular blade with prominent midrib and a very short, flat tang. The patina is a gorgeous mixture of greens and browns with a hint of blue.
