This is an exceptionally rare bronze age sword (or possibly a spear) from the Ganges Valley dating to approximately 1500 BC. The patina is suggestive of a high copper content indicative of the early bronze age. This extraordinarily rare piece measures an impressive 444 mm and weighs 415 grams. It has two perforations in the blade near the handle one of which has an original ring still attached. There are no signs of repair to this piece but it is bent in places as you should be able to see in the photos. Don't miss this opportunity to add this truly rare, museum quality piece to your collection.
