Rare 1944-46 sterling silver bracelet designed by American & Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling(1900-67). Bracelet measures 7" long X 2 1/8" wide. Signed WS SPRATLING MADE IN MEXICO on the reverse. Tight and secure in their bezel setting the carved blue and green azurmalachite stones appear to overlap in the center. Two of the stones have a fine hairline that is noticed only on close inspection. Snap closure works perfectly. Pictured on p.41 of MEXICAN SILVER by Penny Morrill and Carole Berk along with a matching necklace. Also pictured on Phyllis Goddard's site spratlingsilver.com. Insured shipping included in U.S.
