Very desirable by collectors of fine Mexican silver this early sterling silver bracelet known as the Maguey was designed and signed circa 1940-45 by Taxco, Mexico silver Maestro and artist Hector Aguilar. Bracelet measures 1 1/4" wide and 6 3/4 inches long. The design features the lush leaves of the agave plant with silver sphere accents. Heavy at 103 grams or 3.6 oz. the bracelet is very comfortable to wear. The panels are designed to gently curve around the wrist. Slide in pin and connected safety chain work perfectly. Beautiful condition with no dents, dings or repairs. Soft unpolished patina. Hallmarked HA, MADE IN MEXICO, STERLING. Pictured in SILVER MASTERS OF MEXCICO by Penny Morrill.
