Sculptural, hand wrought sterling silver earrings designed and signed circa 1950's by American & Taxco artist William Spratling (1900-67). Weight 18 grams, .05 oz. Earrings measure 2 1/4" long from top ball to bottom and 1 1/2" wide. Signed WS 925 eagle #30. Screw backs in fine working order. Beautiful condition and patina. Spratling designs are the central focus of the permanent 20th century Mexican silver collection at Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
