Strong and impressive this vintage 970 silver bracelet was designed and signed circa 1950's by Taxco, Mexico modernist silver Maestro Antonio Pineda (1919-2009). The bracelet measures 1 3/4" wide and 6 1/2" wearable inches long. It weighs a hefty 132 grams, 4.7oz. Comprised of 14 interlocking sculpted panels. Slide in clasp is tight and secure. Attached safety chain. No dents or dings. Gorgeous original patina. Fully hallmarked for Antonio on the reverse. This design is pictured on p. 28 & p.137 of SILVER SEDUCTION THE ART OF MEXICAN MODERNIST ANTONIO PINEDA by Gobi Stromberg.
