Eye catching 940 sterling silver and copper graduated discs bracelet designed circa 1950's by Taxco, Mexico artist Hector Aguilar (1905-86). Bracelet measures 1 3/8" wide at center panel with a wearable length of 7 inches. Weight is a hefty yet comfortable 75 grams. Beautiful condition and patina. Clasp is tight and secure. Fully hallmarked for Aguilar as shown. This design is pictured on p. 139 of SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO by Penny Morrill. Aguilar designs are featured in the permanent 20th century Mexican silver collection at LACMA.
