This rare, intricately constructed link bracelet of silver & amethyst was designed & signed circa 1950's by Taxco, Mexico modernist Antonio Pineda. The bracelet measures 1 1/4" wide with a 6 3/4" interior wearable length. It weighs 101 grams. Both the silver & 8 large amethyst cabs are in beautiful condition. Fully hallmarked. We have not seen this bracelet in our 30 years of handling Mexican silver. However the companion necklace is pictured on p. 102 of SILVER SEDUCTION: THE ART OF MEXICAN MODERNIST ANTONIO PINEDA by Gobi Stromberg from the collection of Cindy Tietze & Stuart Hodosh. Antonio designs are included in many permanent museum collections including LACMA.
