This intricately detailed necklace was created by Mexico, City artist Matilde Poulat in the 1940-50's. The center panels are comprised of inlaid branch coral, turquoise & coral beads & a centered oval amethyst. The panels measure 4" across x 2" high. The necklace has a wearable length of 18 inches. It is in beautiful, well cared for condition with a gorgeous patina that only comes with age. Fully hallmarked for MATL with an eagle #129. Matilde Poulat designs are included in many museums including LACMA.
