This rosewood and sterling silver bracelet was designed and signed circa early 1940's by Taxco Mexico artist William Spratling. Bracelet measures 1 3/8" wide with an interior length of 7". Comprised of 14 hinged panels each mounted with 3 pyramid shapes. Weight 110 grams. Pin hinge closure with safety chain works perfectly. Beautiful condition with excellent vintage patina on both wood and silver. Fully signed with Spratling's early 1940's hallmarks. This design is pictured on p. 49 of MEXICAN SILVER by Penny Morrill.
