This handwrought silver box was designed by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling in the 1950's. The box measures 3 1/2" X 2 5/8" and is 1" high & weighs 178 grams. The lid is inlaid with panels of rich brown & yellow shell held in place by sterling silver rivets. The box is in beautiful condition & fully hallmarked.
