Description:
A Jizhou bowl was applied with dark brown nearing black glaze on the surface.
Characteristically and famously a leaf pattern was applied in the cavetto.
By greasy-feel quality belong to the Jizhou glaze, the surface was spread with subtle crackles which were caused by the age.
The body clay revealed at the bottom was in soft and loosening quality which was in line with the characteristics of the dated Jizhou wares.
The leaf design was vivid with stems and veins and was transparent in mixed amber or grayish tint.
It was merged with the darken background and was affected by incursion.

Date: Southern Song Dynasty, 12th-13th century.
