Description: An imposing blue and white jar was molded in elegant shape . Painted with fluent tendrils of honeysuckle and Chinese characters Sou (longevity), this jar was in quite good size and quite weighty in hand. Applied on the surface with painting of scrolling branches in mature brush strokes, a special pottery work had been done to make this jar an attractive piece and a must addition to one's porcelain collections. Date: Late Qing period (late 19th century) Condition: Overall in good condition except some kiln defects at the inner bottom of the jar. Width: 34cm Height: 25cm
