Description: A black Jianyang Temmoko tea bowl of Song Dynasty was intriguingly transformed into a whitish tint by natural burial's incursion. In typical black body of Jianyang kiln, the tea bowl was applied with shear black glaze before being affected by the incursion. In a still slippery feel on the surface, the rare bowl showed itself a charming piece. A similar piece was in a loan exhibition from MOA Japan at The Museum of Fujiang Province. It can be as referent in the last two pictures. Being noted is what identically the foot rings were shaped. Song Dynasty(12th century). Provenance: Luhuapin, Jianyang. Width: 13.3cm
