What can I say about this item... for hose who have everything!!! This is an 1890's one of kind large Black Americana Toy. There will not be another of these... turn the handle (a little stiff) and the Boys will do a jig. The old Box lid is marked "Members of the Lime Kiln Club" and "Old Kentucky Home". The Lime-Kiln Club was a fictitious fraternal organization of African-Americans created by a Journalist/Writer in the late 1800's Open the lid and there are 6 fantastic characters....

Large Ronson Touch Tip Art Deco Bar Shape Lighter with the figure of a black bartender behind it. 1930's this lighter was made for Ronson by the Artmetal Works Inc., of Newark NJ. The bar is part chrome and the front of the bar is most likely faux tortoise shell. If you tilt the cocktail shakers or glasses on each side a compartment opens and would lift the stored cigarettes upwards. It is in good and complete. Please see photos

This is a very rare and early McLoughlin Bros Puzzle, Circa 1875. Both actual puzzle are very incomplete, see pictures of bits left. The box is original and superb condition Box Measures Approx - 8.5" Wide x 10.5" Long x 1.7" Depth

This is a real find, the Oil cans which come in various forms are hard enough to find but here is an amazing double sided metal sign that would have hung at a Petrol Garage in France

For those who have everything in the genre, here is a really rare and very large U.S Five Gallons Tin. Black Mammy with great graphics and made by the Miller Paint Manufacturing Company.

This truly a one off piece, I have never seen another Pail like it, Black man eating a Watermelon, amazing graphics here on what is a large pail. Pail measures approx - 6.5" tall and 6" in Diameter

The Five Jolly Darkies Way Down in Old Virginia, The Old Plantation, Made by W. S. Reed Toy Co., Leominster, MA circa 1880/1890, wooden toy. Measures 9" x 6.5" x 2" deep. Only thing missing the handle for the crank but another can easily be placed on it Condition is very good

Top left translates as "Dirtoff Soap whitens me" Top right translates as "We sell everywhere" Graphics and colours are superb and would have been for soap aimed at mechanics and the like to get the oil and grease off. Fantastic item here. from The The Tinplate Decorating Company... this is from 1893. The bottom section of the box contains two concentric circles, the outer of which contains ten round counters, each marked with the name of the boys: Sambo, Hank, Pete, Huck, Gabe, Pomp, Lige, Snow, Caesar, and Mose. The inner circle has two slots which connect the circles and the printed names of the boys within. Tin Measures circa 3.7" in Diameter

This is a very rare item, they came in three variations, not sure if they ever made it to distribution back in the 50/60's but would have been there at shows for kids advertising the Brand, great condition, has the small holes on the back where the wheels would attach. N****r Boy Licorice was produced through the 1950s and 60s by the National Licorice Pty Ltd, a company in the USA with a branch in Caulfield, Victoria...

Super Rare Candy Box by Brown & Haley - I have not seen another one in 25 years of Collecting/Dealing with this genre. Graphics are on all four sides and top of the Box Black Girl and Boy on candy sticks seesaw Box has some wear to it, no splits. Please see photos
