What a fantastic item, I can safely say that in 25 years of collecting and dealing with Black Americana, that I have never come across another one of these. i have seen the Black Boy/man's heads that were made in Japan but never this little fellow. Condition is still very good with no breaks, and the tape measure works perfectly and retracts straight back in when pulled out. He measures - 4" tall

Charming Cruet Set with a Black boy and Girl sitting in a basket. Marked "Foreign" most likely came from Japan for the Wester market, circa 1950 Condition is very good

Little Dexterity Toy that can be attached to a key chain etc..., one side has a caricature of a black face and you need to get the little beads into his mouth and eyes and the other side has two dice in it. Measures only approx (just under) 1" x 1"

Super Rare Candy Box by Brown & Haley - I have not seen another one in 25 years of Collecting/Dealing with this genre. Graphics are on all four sides and top of the Box Black Girl and Boy on candy sticks seesaw Box has some wear to it, no splits. Please see photos
