This is Kyo Kanoko Hand-Shibori Kimono of the late Tokugawa period. As for this, a pattern is a Japanese apricot branch and a cloud. Orieda Ume pattern is the pattern which court nobles of Edo period use well. This is a consecutive pattern, but a change is added to each pattern a little. This cotton cloth is spun very closely by hand and is woven without a gap. This cotton is slightly thick good-quality cotton. And this is dyed with a good natural indigo plant. This does not have a stain and damage at all. The last image is an inside image. I recommend it to you as a good-quality cotton indigo dyeing item of Kyoto.
