Stands not included

Each game of Go is at a different stage and there are other different details between each charger. One of these alone would be a fantastic addition to any collection but being a pair makes these extra special. The enameling is very thick and three dimensional in places. I believe these are Kutani Revival rather than Ko Kutani. The various design elements point to their being made by the Yoshidaya kiln with a date in the 1820’s. In any event they are from the Edo and not the Meiji period. Size 14 ½ inches in diameter. 2 ½ inches high Foot rim diameter is just under 7 inches. Condition: No cracks, chips or repairs. Some original firing and manufacture flaws as would be expected. Note: The stands in the photographs are not included, only the two chargers. Please see my store page for sales policy and other information.
