VTG "YAMADA" GIRL CLOWN W/ ORIGINAL SCHMID MUSIC BOX. A beautiful dressed-up girl clown figurine from the "Yamada" Originals Musical Collectibles - Schmid 1991.Made of hand painted, glazed ceramic. According to the sticker on underside, the built in music box apparently plays: Bolero. Figurine has a width of 4", a depth of 4" and a height of 6 1/2". Music box is equipped with a on/off stopper and external lever. Just over this lever, on the rear side, is the signature of Y. Yamada. Girl wears a very decorative dress with a big ruffled collar and applied roses on her hat. She sits upon a cushion and plays the mandolin.All fine details, and she is in excellent condition. Would make a fantastic gift.
