Beautiful oval platter by RC (Royal Crockery) Noritake China. Shape is typical of their lovely china dinnerware. Pattern identified as N1462 border of tiny yellow and orange buttercups or poppies with nice gold detail trim. This pattern was discontinued in 1950. The backstamp used was on itms sent to India and Southeast Asia.RC stands for Royal Crockery (fine china),THis mark was not registerd in India until 1926, and this was the first time the laurel leaves were used with the RC Mark. Measures 11 7/8 long. This piece is in excellent condition with no chips or damages. A simply beautiful addition to your set. I will be listing more pieces of this pattern.
