Gorgeous tan with speckles and flecks all through this Bauer casserole dish with original metal stand.This 1 quart casserole dish measures approximately 7 1/2" across the rim, 3" deep, and with the lid on it is 4 1/2" to the top of the finial. Serving holder 10 " from handle to handle by 7". Bauer pottery is a California-made ware. J.A. Bauer bought Paducah Pottery in Paducah, Kentucky, in 1885. He moved the pottery to Los Angeles, California, in 1909. The company made art pottery after 1912 and dinnerwares marked Bauer in 1930. The factory went out of business in 1962. Casserole Dish is in wonderful condition free from crazing or cracks,stains, scratches. The metal holder is in good average condition. It shows slight minor wear.
