Beautiful tabbed cake plate handand painted with a spray of violets with gold edge and handles trim. Measures 10 1/4" diameter (not measured with handles included).Carries a green importer mark Vienna Austria, used from around 1885 by Leonard, then Bawo & Dotter followed by Charles L. Dwenger and finally Paul A. Straub. This mark was used in conjunction with Hutschenreuther. Also has hand painted "Art Studio Hand Painted" in red cursive script. A number 16 imprinted under the glaze also. No chips or cracks. Very slight wear to the gold edge. If you love violets, you will surely love this.
