This is a wonderfully unusual cup and saucer.Actually it is English pottery.The scene is of a coach with four horses full of men, with the English countryside being in the background.It says "Dickens Days" under the picture. The border of the saucer and the outer side of the cup is a purple color lustre. But it has a bubbly drip appearance. It's really pretty. Nice condition.Some crazing, but this definately old.No chips cracks or repairs. The saucer measures 5 9/16" diameter. The cup is2 1/2" tall.Scenery outside front of the cup also. Marked Gray's Pottery Made in Stoke on Trent England, and has a picture of a large ship on the stamp,(email for photo of back stamp)
