A vintage modernist set of Cufflinks with matching Tiebar in sterling and exotic wood from Sigi Pineda, Taxco Mexico. Cufflinks measure 1 1/8" long and 3/4" wide. Tiebar measures 2 1/8" long and 3/8" wide. Marked Sterling Made in Mexico, Sigi Tasco, Eagle 3, and with design number 52 on the back of the tiebar. A rare hand wrought brooch by Madeline Turner, a New York City Jeweler who worked from the 1930's to the 1950's. She designed jewelry for Georg Jensen USA. In sterling silver with a turquoise oval cabochon. Measures about 2 7/8" across and about 2 1/2" high. Rollover clasp holds securely. Although this brooch is unsigned, we have shown the back of another example with her conjoined MTurner hallmark. In very nice condition with a little tarnish. A wonderful example of her modernist work.

A very unusual spoon or small ladle by Los Castillo in copper with an amethyst orb. The central flower looks to be silver. Looks like the inside of the ladle is lined with silver. Measures 5 1/2" long and 1 1/2" at the widest. Marked Los Castillo, Taxco, Hecho en Mexico. Nice dark patina.

A Fine High Glaze Trivet from Newcomb College. Quite early, probably circa 1901. Marks on back include NC for Newcomb College, JM for the potter, Joseph Meyer, H J for the decorator, Harriet Joor. Other marks are U for the white clay, P in a shield and a couple of other marks under the glaze that can not be deciphered. Measures about 5 7/8" across. Shows some roughness and flakes to the edge. Rare and unique.
