A vintage modernist pendant in brass with a design of copper and sterling by the noted jeweler, Ed Wiener. Measures 2" across. Signed Ed Wiener on the back. Has a large bale so will accommodate a thick chain or neck ring. Has some tarnish. Very cool design.

A vintage mid century modernist pair of salad servers in sterling silver and exotic wood by William Spratling. One is an open slotted spoon/fork and the other is a large serving spoon. They each measure 12 1/4" long and 2 1/4" across the bowls. Marked with the conjoined 'WS', Taxco and 925. These were the marks used between 1933-40, the first design period.

Made of thick lightly hammered sterling with three small balls near where the silver is attached to the wood.

Rare 1931 Signed Limited Edition Book. Epic Poem on life and times of the early settlers of western Canada by Robert Watson with wood cut illustrations by Walter J. Phillips. Signed by both. Book in fine condition, slipcase shows some wear.

An important, rare modernist brooch by the renowned African American jeweler, Art Smith. Has a copper ball caged in swirled brass coils. The ball moves for an interesting effect.

Measures 3 1/4" long and 2 3/8" at the widest. Marked with the 'Art Smith' script signature. Has a secure rollover clasp. In fine condition with areas of tarnish.

A stand out modernist sterling silver ring from Finland by Pekka Piekainen for Auran Kultaseppa. Iconic flared design. Very heavy and solid.

Marked on the back of the shank for Kultaseppa, Finland silver standard, 925, Town mark for Turku, and X7 for 1976. Also marked with the maker's mark and Finland. About a size 8.

In fine condition with some surface scratches and tarnish, shows some surface wear. There is a very tiny ding at one corner on the underside, you really have to look for it. ...

A great, early sterling silver cuff bracelet by Francisco Rebajes with a large silver wire wrapped glass orb. Marked Sterling, Original Hand Wrought Design, and Rebajes on the back. Measures 4 3/4" around with an opening of 1 3/8". Could probably be adjusted slightly but meant to wear snuggly so the orb doesn't roll around. Measures 1 3/8" at the widest. Fine condition. A well made modernist bracelet in 835 silver with a design reminiscent of Juhls or Lapponia. Looks very Nordic or Scandinavian, but it is signed 835 Germany and what looks like conjoined KG in a circle. Unable to determine the maker.

Bracelet measures about 7 1/2" around and 7/8" at the widest. The front design measures 2" across and 1 3/8" high. Has a very mid century design. The hook clasp holds securely. The central design is attached with a hinge.

A sterling silver modernist ring with an amber ball by Danish silversmith, Niels Erik (NE) From.

Marked From 925S. Measures about a size 7. In nice condition with some minor scratches and nicks to the edges of the back of the shank. Not very noticeable when worn. It may need a bit of cleaning but we will leave that to the new owner. Looks like it may have been resized by a previous owner. The ball sits 1/2" off the finger.

Two pair of vintage Mexican Sterling Silver screw back earrings by Sigi Pineda in modernist designs. May be purchased together or as two separate pairs.

One pair has a polished layer of sterling intertwined with an textured layer for an interesting contrast. Measure 1 1/4" long and 3/4" across. Marked Sigi Tasco, and Eagle #36. The first one is a modernist sterling silver brooch in a figure eight design with a coral and pearl bead. Measures 1 5/8" long and 1/2" wide. Marked LEVIN and Sterling. This is an earlier mark. Mid 20th Century. Fine condition. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely.

A modernist brooch by noted mid century silversmith, Frances Holmes Boothby.

This brooch measures 1 5/8" tall and 1 1/4" across the bottom. Has a textured inlay of multicolored enamel. There is a sterling inlay in the center of the enamel for an interesting contrast. Marked with fhb and Sterling on the back. Has a safety rollover clasp that holds securely.

Has a few minor scratches, some tarnish and one nick to the side that touches both the edge and the side of the bezel.

A mid century modern necklace with a large pendant in pewter by Lysgards in Denmark. Pendant has a brutalist texture with a rough cut amethyst geode. Marked Made in Denmark, Lysgards Design, Tin and 93. Measures 4" long to the top of the bale and 1 7/8" across. Original chain is a paper clip style with a toggle clasp. Measures 24" long. In nice condition with some minor tarnish and scratches. Cool mod design!

A vintage modernist pendant by Jens Ib. Bluitgen, who was head of the design workshop of Georg Jensen from 1953-1961 before going out on his own. Made in Denmark. Three lightly hammered sterling curved shields with an oxidized dark patina suspended from a sterling heart shaped neck ring.

A sterling silver modernist brooch with a bezel set onyx stone cabochon by Joaquin Tinta of Ecuador. Depicts a stylized bird or rooster with a gemstone eye.

Measures 1 3/4" across and 7/8" high. Marked Ecuador, Tinta and Sterling on the back. The sterling mark has been double stamped. Has some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish.

Has contrasting layers of polished and textured silver for an interesting effect.

Well crafted, classic design. Lots of detail.

A pair of modernist pendants in 830 silver designed by Jorma Laine for Kultateollisuus Ky of Turku Finland. May be purchased together or individually.

The larger pendant, made up of interconnected circles with a curved in central disk, measures 2 3/4" long including the bale and 1 5/8" wide. Looks like a stylized cross. Pendant is marked 830S for the Finnish silver standard, and Finland.

A modernist cast sterling silver brooch with a pearl by noted Mid Century silversmith Christian Schmidt, (1926-1974). Signed with his stylized 'S' hallmark and Sterling.

Measures 2" across and 7/8" high. Has a three dimensional curved design. Has a pearl perched at the end of the bottom curved piece. Interesting contrast of dark textured patina on the sides and polished surfaces on the top.

Has some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish. Rollover clasp holds securely.

A modernist sterling silver ring by Oscar Aaroe, (1905-1996), a jeweler and silversmith born in Denmark who apprenticed with Georg Jensen and had his store on Palm Springs, California. This ring feels Southwestern in design and was probably influenced by the Native American silversmiths in the area.

Has a bezel set dark green - almost black smooth stone. Measures size 9.

Marked O. Aaroe Handmade Sterling and Palm Springs, Calif. on the back.
