A well crafted, large sterling silver brooch by Albino Manca in an Arts and Crafts design.

Measures about 3 1/8" across and 2 1/4" tall. Marked Hand Wrought, Sterling, A. Manca multiple times.

Has a rollover clasp that holds securely. Warm patina, fine condition with minor surface scratches.

Would look lovely on a dark fabric background.

A rare sterling silver and caged raw purple stone brooch by noted MCM jeweler, Arthur King. Probably amethyst. Unmarked, attributed to Arthur King. We have seen the same brooch signed Sterling, King. The raw amethyst is caged in thick and thinner sterling wire and suspended from a thick curved wire.

Measures 1 3/4" across and 2 1/2" tall.

Has a rolling safety clasp that holds securely. Has some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish.

Lots of movement. Classic Arthur King design.

A vintage large sterling silver Mid Century Modernist brooch by Ed Wiener in the shape of a five pointed star.

Made from thick sterling wire. Unsigned, as were most of his star brooches. We believe this one is the larger version.

Measures 3 1/8" across and 2" high.

Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. There may be a slight bend on the long arm, may be original to the piece. Has some minor surface scratches and tarnish.

Fine craftsmanship. Great studio piece

A sterling silver bird shaped brooch and /or a modernist abstract brooch with a pearl by noted mid century silversmith, Frances Holmes Boothby. May purchase individually or together.

The bird brooch measures 1" high and 1 3/8" across. Marked fhb, and Sterling on the back. Fine condition, just a few minor scratches and a little tarnish. Rollover clasp holds securely. This is one of her classic designs.

Made from two layers of sterling, one textured and one smooth with a copper orb in the center.

Signed with a partially struck Ed Wiener Sterling.

Measures almost 1" across and 7/8" high.

Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. There are some minor surface scratches and tarnish.

A vintage heavy brooch or pendant and matching screw back earrings designed by Fammik for Viggo Wollny whose workshop was in Copenhagen, Denmark and registered from 1921-73.

Stylized pitchers. Earrings are opposites so frame the face when worn.

A pair of vintage sterling silver brooches by the American modernist jeweler, Ronald Hayes Pearson. May purchase individually or as a pair.

The larger first brooch, which looks like a stylized abstract bird measures about 3" long and 1" across. Signed Pearson, Sterling and with a stylized 'P'. Heavy sterling silver, weighs 20 gr.

A sterling silver bar brooch with a diamond shaped art glass green cabochon. Measures 2 7/8" long and about 1/2" at the widest. Closes with ah early 'C' clasp. In nice condition, has a little wear to the surface of the cabochon. Classic arts and crafts design.

Makers Sterling and with a stylized 'M' for the directorship of John C. Moore II. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds tightly. Includes dark blue Tiffany & Co. box. Rare find.

A sterling silver heavy brooch with a floral overlay of hammered sterling by Georg Jensen USA. Measures 1 3/4" long and 1 1/2" across. Marked USA Georg Jensen Inc. Sterling Handwrought and 451. Closes with a rollover safety clasp that holds tightly. Has a little tarnish. Pin on the clasp has a slight bend in it. Well made, delicate hammering. Rare design.

An early cross brooch in Sterling Silver with Coral, Amethyst and Mother of Pearl by Matilde Poulat. Measures 1 5/8" across and 1 7/8" tall. Marked MATL, 925 and also has an etched 'E'. Has a squiggle of silver attached to the bottom by two rings. Amethyst stone is faceted. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds tightly. Has a little tarnish. Very unusual combination of stones.

A vintage silver, probably sterling, brooch with a carved carnelian cabochon. Measures 2" long and 1 1/2" across. Marked with what looks like the stylized initials 'ES'. The cabochon has 5 small drilled holes. We are not sure what the purpose was. Has a 'C' clasp that holds securely. Has a little tarnish. Very pretty design.

A rare early abstract sterling silver brooch by Sam Kramer. Measures 1 3/4" high and 2" wide. Signed with an impressed mushroom and sterling on the back. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Pin back is bent at the end but seems to be original and follows the curves of the brooch. Fine example of his work.

A vintage sterling silver heavy brooch by Hector Aguilar. Signed with the conjoined HA, Taxco and 940 for better than sterling silver. Pre Eagle, (pre 1949). Measures 3 1/2" across and 3 1/8" high. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. The brooch has some minor tarnish surface scratches. Classic Taxco design.

A rare heavy sterling silver brooch by William Spratling, Taxco. Measures 2 3/4" long and 1 1/8" wide. Marked with the WS in a circle incised mark, Silver Mexico and 925. Has a slight dent to the center and is missing the rollover part of the clasp. A rare find for the collector.

A wonderful Skonvirke 830S silver brooch by the well regarded Danish silversmith, Evald Nielsen, (1879-1958).

Measures 2 5/8" long and 5/8" at the widest. Has one central dark purple cabochon. Very light, delicate hammering, beautiful repousse work. Marked 830S for the Danish silver standard and the stylized EN mark on the back. Has an older rollover clasp which holds securely. Very fine condition, with minor tarnish.

Quality piece. Beautiful classic Danish design.

A pair of classic Mexican Silver brooches by Fred Davis depicting a guitar playing man and a woman carrying a fruit basket. Both are signed with a conjoined FD, and Made in Mexico Silver.

The man measures 2 1/4" tall and 1 1/2" across. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely. Has some tarnish. Lots of detail.
