A sterling silver brooch designed by Jens Harald Quistgaard for Dansk Designs. Features the company's Mother Duck and Ducklings logo. Measures 1 3/4" tall and 1 3/8" across. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Marked on the back with JHQ, Sterling and Denmark. Has some slight crimping to the edges and some minor tarnish. Hard to find piece of Danish modernist jewelry.

A lightly hammered sterling silver brooch with a central agate by Tone Vigeland, who worked with the Norway Plus Design Studio. The central stone has gold speckles which catch the light. Heavy thick sterling.

Measures 1 3/4" across and 2" high. Marked with the ND for Norway Designs, and conjoined TV for Tone Vigeland. Also has the Plus sign, Sterling and Norway.

A vintage brooch by Taxco artisan Enrique Ledesma with a sterling silver overlay on a shell background. There are two small round inlays of copper.

Measures 2 1/2" long and 1 1/2" at the widest. Marked on the back with a partial Ledesma, Taxco, 925, and an Eagle mark. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely.

Fine condition with some tarnish. The shell is a deep brown with lots of swirls.

Rare design.

A rare sterling silver brooch by Modernist NYC Silversmith, Henry Steig in a fish design. The eye and the 'spine' are layered over the main body.

Measures 2 3/4" long and 7/8" at the widest.

Signed on the back Steig Sterling. Thick sterling, wonderful three dimensional feel.

Rollover clasp holds securely. Has some tarnish and minor surface scratches. Has a tiny bit of roughness on the bottom edge of the mouth and at the top. Could probably be buffed out if desired.

A sterling silver hand wrought brooch by the mid century modernist studio jeweler, Ruth Berridge, (1921-2004).

Shaped like a fish with two layers of curved, overlapping sterling. Has a multidimensional effect. Measures about 2 3/4" across and 1 1/2" high. Signed Berridge, Handmade and Sterling on the back. Rollover clasp holds securely. Fine condition with minor surface scratches and a some tarnish.

A rare sterling silver and caged raw purple stone brooch by noted MCM jeweler, Arthur King. Probably amethyst. Unmarked, attributed to Arthur King. We have seen the same brooch signed Sterling, King. The raw amethyst is caged in thick and thinner sterling wire and suspended from a thick curved wire.

Measures 1 3/4" across and 2 1/2" tall.

Has a rolling safety clasp that holds securely. Has some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish.

A vintage bronze brooch or pendant with a nude figure around a brown swirled agate.

Has 'fingers' which hold the stone in place. Measures 3" long and 1 1/2" across. Has a secure rollover clasp and also a small bale so could be worn either as a brooch or on a chain. Can be worn up and down or sideways as a brooch. The bale is behind the figure's knee so the figure would be crawling down when worn on a chain.

Well constructed, interesting design.

A pair of Arts and Crafts hammered sterling silver bar pins or brooches by the Art Silver Shop of Chicago. Each has a central fresh water dog tooth pearl.

They may be purchased separately or as a pair.

The longer one measures about 2 1/2" long and 1/4" wide. The shorter one measures 2" long and 1/4" wide.

Both brooches are marked on the back with Hand Made, Art Silver Shop, conjoined TASS hallmark, and Sterling.

An Arts and Crafts hand made acid etched brooch in German Silver or Pewter by the documented Chicago firm, BRANDT that was active 1914-1923. Signed with an impressed BRANDT.

Measures 2 1/2" long and 5/8" wide. Not flat but curved for an interesting effect. Has a replaced rollover clasp that holds securely.
