A pair of sterling silver modernist rings by the mid century jeweler Ella Cone, who had The Silversmiths' shop in Boston. May purchase individually or as a pair.

The wrap ring measures about 6 1/2 and is adjustable due to the nature of the design. Has a bezel set green agate or pale jade stone. Marked on the inside with the cipher of the artist, xTo and 925. Flares out, can be worn with the stone section up or down. Front measures 7/8" long. Has some tarnish and nicks along the edges....

Two vintage modernist sterling silver pieces by Erik Granit, an early geometric brooch and/or a pendant with a central crystal. Made in Finland.

May purchase individually or as a pair.

The geometric brooch is marked with the conjoined EG logo, Crown, and 813H for the silver content. The hallmarks are small and on top of the 'C' clasp. It measures 1 1/2" in diameter. A vintage hammered sterling silver circles necklace by the American Studio Modernist jeweler, John Lewis. This is signed with Sterling and the crossed JL of the artist.

Great hammered texture, circles are all about 7/8" in this example. Measures about 23 1/2" long. Closes with a secure hook clasp.

Fine condition, has some minor scratches and darkened patina. Nice hand wrought feel. Weighs about 31 Gr. We believe this may be the heavier example.

Classic John Lewis design.

A pair of William Spratling sterling silver pierced earrings with large dangling fans or sails. These earrings were made in the 1980s.

They measure 1 1/2" across the widest part and 2 1/4" high including the post back. Marked on the back of each earring with the conjoined WS and Spratling 925 Taxco Mexico. They are also marked with TS24 indicating the later date. Post backs hold securely. In fine condition.

Classic design. Lots of movement.

A vintage hand made large pendant of a nude woman reminiscent of the work of Carl Tasha or Richard Kaish in bronze or brass.

The pendant measures 4" long and 3" at the widest. It has lots of detail.

Currently suspended from a neck ring that measures about 18" around with an opening of 1". There is some flexibility to adjust the size. The neck ring has light hammering and a bronze colored wash. It could also be worn on a thick chain or cord due to the large bale.

Two pair of vintage sterling silver earrings by Hans Hansen, Denmark are available.

The first pair has a more traditional design. They measure 1 1/8" long and 3/4" wide. Marked with the script Hans Hansen signature, Denmark, 925S and style #422. The clips hold securely. Have a warm patina.

The second pair are round with raised domes surrounded by oxidized silver. They measure 5/8" across. They are marked HaH, Denmark and 925S. The screw backs hold securely. Show very minor wear. ...

A modernist sterling silver ring and a matching pair of earrings with a ribbon or knot design by the Swedish jewelry maker Alton.

The ring measures a size 7 now, but is adjustable.

Marked Alton, F for the city mark, Swedish silver standard, B10, (date code for 1976), Sterling and 925.

Face of the ring measures 7/8" long and 5/8" across. There are some minor lines on the edges but they look to be original and were probably made when the pieces were folded. Has a little tarnish.

An interesting, heavy organic ring by the Swedish Modernist Jeweler, Isaac Cohen. Marked Isaac Cohen, ICO for the maker, Town Mark for Stockholm, National Mark, Silver Standard, and date code for 1967. Isaac Cohen was the owner of Galarie 22, a fashionable jewelry store in Stockholm. Top measures about 1 1/8" long and 1 1/8" across. Sits about 5/8" high off the shank. Ring is between an 8 - 8 1/2. A pair of Taxco, Mexico Sterling Silver earrings with Bronze central domes by William Spratling. These earrings were in the 1945 catalog.

Measure 1 1/4" across. Marked on the back of each screw back with the conjoined WS and Spratling Made in Mexico.

Screw backs hold securely. Have some tarnish, dings and minor scratches.

An unusual modernist sterling silver ring with coiled silver wires by the firm Jens Peter Clausen Guðjónsson of Iceland. Signed JENS 925S, Hand Made and Iceland. Measures about a size 7. The top sits 5/8" high and measures about 1 1/4" across. Has a brutalist, asymmetrical feel. There is a small fracture on the bottom that looks original. This design really stands out! Great example of Scandinavian modernist design.

A modernist sterling silver brooch with a large triangular shaped bezel set raw amethyst stone by Helge Narsakka for Kaunis Koru, Finland. Active 1954-61.

Signed HN for the designer, National Mark, 916H for the silver purity, Town Mark, K7 for 1963 and KK for the Maker.

Measures 2" across and 1 1/8" high. Minor tarnish. Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Pretty deep purple color.

Would also look lovely worn with a converter on a neck ring.

Measures about a size 7. Almost 1/2" high. Marked Sterling Steig on the inside. Reminds us of flattened chain.

A vintage modernist sterling silver ring with two orbs surrounded by multiple ribbons by Elis Kauppi's studio Kupittaan Kulta Oy, Turku Finland. A sleek Mid Century Modern design.

Measures about a size 7.5 but may be able to be resized without affecting the hallmarks because they are on the side.

In very nice condition with minor tarnish, tiny nicks along the edge of the band and some minor surface scratches.

A very unique hand wrought sterling pendant and chain with an amethyst drop.

Pendant measures 2 1/4" across and 2" high. Chain measures 18" long and has a secure hook closure. The opening is oval shaped so the hook will not slide out.

Marked with Sterling and a maker's mark on the inside of the circle.

Striking design, lots of movement. Can be worn with the pendant facing either way.

Fine condition with a little tarnish.

A pair of modernist pendants in 830 silver designed by Jorma Laine for Kultateollisuus Ky of Turku Finland. May be purchased together or individually.

The larger pendant, made up of interconnected circles with a curved in central disk, measures 2 3/4" long including the bale and 1 5/8" wide. Looks like a stylized cross. Pendant is marked 830S for the Finnish silver standard, and Finland.

A vintage modernist sterling silver cuff bracelet by Danish silversmith, Palle Bisgaard in a tiered curved shape. His torque necklace, part of this same line is included in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This is the widest version of this cuff, with an extra tier at the bottom edge.

Measures about 5 1/2" around with an opening of 1" and 3/4" at the widest. There does not appear to be much give so it is better for an average to slender wrist.

A modernist, heavy, sterling silver ring from Denmark, designed by Knud V. Andersen in the highly sought after bark design.

The thick curled wrap style ring with a bark like texture measures a size 7. The shank measures 1/2" at the widest. Marked 925S KVA Denmark.

This ring can not be resized without disrupting the design.

Fine condition, dark patina. Feels great on!

A pair of modernist sterling silver screw back earrings in a tulip design by the noted MCM studio jeweler, Paul Lobel. Constructed of a layer of oxidized sterling with a contrasting polished curved sterling wire overlay.

Screw backs measure 1 1/8" long and 3/4" across and hold securely. They are marked LOBEL Sterling and the screw part is marked Sterling.
